The Primitive Horde, much like the Primitive himself, do not know how to repair stuff http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
I have been using the same race, with only a few minor modifications, in KOTH for quite a while now. After the latest edit and save, the Horde has lost its ability to repair. This is true for my current game (makes retrobuilding kinda hard), but also if I try to edit the race more.

Anybody else seen this?
Any ideas to what I could have done to screw this up?

If someone wants to take a look I can send the race file.

BTW
The race is Berzerker with 70 % to repair, which usually repairs 3 components/turn on a SYI

Yes, 70% berzerkers should repair 3 components per turn at a planetary SYI. You are seeing this in more then one game? With more than one ship design?

There used to be an old bug where retrofitting a ship you would end up with an opponents design. If this happened you could get a ship with tech you had never researched and could not repair. I thought that bug got fixed, but is that what's happening?

Email me the race file I guess.

Primitive, I took the liberty of pulling your empire file from your current KOTH game and after a little checking I can say an unequivacal, "WTF?!?!" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Best I can tell your empire file is somehow corrupted. I can setup an identical empire and it will repair, but yours will not. And I tried setting the repair rate on your empire file back to 100% and neutral culture and it still will not repair. You need to throw that one away and make a new one.

The only thing I ever saw anything like this before was one guy who's empire file would cause the game to crash while creating the first turn. You could edit the .emp file and view the settings, everything looked normal, and make all the changes you wanted but if you tried to create a game with it it crashed. Guess this is something similer. Make a new one for next game and your poblem should go away.
