the game is 12hr game, we are on turn 16 atm.
I have got a temporary player for now, but need a more permanant one.
the race has temporal knowlage.
the game will run 12hr timed games once PBW is back up, but meantime we are just doing it pbem with a game turnaround of about 24-48hrs.

I might have been willing to but I'm a stupid n00B and never learned how to play simultaneous games...

And it's not difficult if you remember you just give orders to your ships which they will follow when the turn is executing.

Ooh, is your sister hot? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif
I actually can't promise that I won't quit halfway through, in fact I'm planning a vacation end of December, so it's very likely I'll only play enough turns to royally screw everything up (and if we're "lucky", have my thorax handed to me and get conquered at once.)
My advice is you keep looking and if you can't find another player, give me a call. I'll be lurking around here. Or I can pick up for your missing player while you keep looking for someone who wants the challenge of a race mismanaged into stellar ash by a n00B.

dude she is so hot she glows, infact she has this atomic *****slap that has a half life of about 50 years...
also I might get you to take over, she is getting sick of it.
the annoying thing is, she would probibly end up enjoying it if she stuck at it till it got interesting.
are you able to play two turns a day?
