I'm tinkering on the idea of creating a mod. I was just wandering if it was possible to randomly create a Dyson's sphere (I'm blanking on the SE term for it). Is it possible to have one appear in a game? Maybe left behind by the Ancients? I'm thinking of something like the TNG episode where they find Scotty on the outside surface of one.

You can create a new planet type that uses the sphere world bitmap and has the same number of facility/population slots as a sphere world. Once in there the game will use them like any other planet.

See Admirals System Mod for an example. Not sure of a link to find that mod though since PBW is down atm.

Look on www.spaceempires.net (http://www.spaceempires.net) under SE4 Classic mods.
