Ok people, It's time to share your xmas gift wishes whith your other forum faring friends.

I always have trouble making a list. off hand I'd have to say my 10 year old 14" monitor is due to be replaced. I always enjoy a good game, (the Call of Duty demo was realy nice).

In reality I'll more than likely get some sweaters, socks, gloves or other such stuff.

I do however look forward to giving gifts, I always like to give gifts. Much more fun than getting stuff.

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Well, there only 3 things on my wish list, but I know I'm not getting them. I do part-time security work on the weekends, and I need something to pass the time. So a laptop, a portable dvd player and there's a police scanner from the C.Crane company that will also pick up video signals that would definitely help me pass the time. Unfortunately, they're all big-ticket items, and I don't have that kind of money.

What would really be nice are some dvd sets, such as Band of Brothers, 24 season 2, and any of the Star Trek sets. Those would look good in my stocking.

Already bought both Starfury and Dominions 2. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

If Dominions 2 really is as good as everyone says it is, I may get bored of SEIV soon.

My wife has been asking this question for a month, and I still don't know. Their is nothing in particular that I want or need. Possibly a new leather chair for my office.

mostly books, albums & DVDs for me:

Extended LOTR: TTT, Akira, Pirate ot Carribean (loved that film), any Bab5 DVD would very cool,

Oh, and I want one of those tft/ plasma monitors that's also a tv, but I ought to save up and buy that myself, coz it's kind of pricey.

Oh, and http://www.transmetropolitan.com/spider_s_sunglasses.html and http://www.ntkmart.co.uk/ntkmart.cgi - not that I've been thinkking about it too much...

i would like to stand at the pacific ocean and have a nice glass of single malt with gandalph, will, puke and fyron.

Then meet up with mac, geo , thermo down at the pub.

Debate world politics, movies and history until the night becomes day. Then magically show up in Germany with all our friends across the pond and the one in Africa.

Then stop back in Rex land and bug him about where he lives... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Then stop off with a nice cup of coffee with kwok and sj

But if this does not happen.

Socks and underwear please and a really good crib board and a nice set of domino's

I found Dom II kind of..meh, actually. Mainly I don't like the battle control. Lots of stats, seemingly less control than even SE4 (sure, I can give order ques, but only to commanders)

I just don't see what all the big fuss is about... it is too complicated in the areas that it should be streamlined and too simplistic in the areas that should be complicated...

What do I want for Christmas?

I would like world peace, an end of suffering and starvation, a cure for cancer and AIDS, a global movement and rationalisation to end global warming, a more fair divestment of the world's resources, harmony and love for all.

Failing that, a small box of crystallised fruiits and a jar of pickled walnuts would do me proper.

Or, a quick knee trembler with Laetitia Casta whilst she is dressed as one of Santa's elves...

Or, the chance to whack Tony Blair and George W Bush in the happysacks with a cricket bat....

Or, an new Aston Martin Vantage with fluffy dice and a sticker saying "Growltigga" and "Laetitia" across the windscreen..

It will be bloody socks, I know it will..

and PS Mac, the horde turned up, piece of p@ss for the armoured legions of the Byzantine Empire. Now, you try mission 5 on hidden and dangerous 2, THAT IS TOUGH!!

What would I like ? So many things... but Tesco, Mac and GT have gone over them quite well.

More realistically, though, a dozen or so Micro Machines TIE fighters / bombers / interceptors for my miniatures games would be nice.

Even more realistically, a good book or CD would be OK.

My wife says my Christmas gift is Star Wars - related, so I am actually quite optimistic about what I'll get. And I got her a Stephen King book.
