I've heard of a web site where you can download entire episodes of StarBlazers but I can't find it anywhere and so I must ask if any of you have seen this site and if you can give me a link?

I know many people who are really into the series, mostly from making the sets I did, but non of them have ever mentioned, that I can recall, any web site where you can download episodes.
They have mentioned sites where you can buy them, and they are not cheep.

I bought my first 3 from there, then found the rest of the series and 4 of the next series at a used dvd/cd store for $10 a piece. Now, I need to find vol 5 & 6 so I can watch that season, and I don't feel like spending $60. But as far as d/l them from teh web, no, I haven't heard of that. I'm a big Star Blazers fan, but even if I could find such a site and had the bandwidth to d/l it, I still wouldn't. Not only would it be illegal, I like to have the original dvd with the packaging.

i have never heard of any site that offers downloads of the Series. Here is a link to the direct starblazer DvD and Video store that has the cheapest prices i have found(not an actual link--mine tend to not work when i copy the shortcut)
just goto www.starblazers.com (http://www.starblazers.com) click on the STORE tab---and you can get good deals there. single DVD for 21 bucks, and they have sets too.

Speaking of Starblazers, do anyone know how many series (or seasons) there were? I heard 4, although growing up, I only saw the first two. I know Suncoast Motion Picture has some of the 3rd series dvd's, but I dont' know if the 4th series is available. Does anybody know, and what would it be called anyway?

This series is harder to find on DVD than getting a date with a super model.

When I click on that link, I get a page that says "Browser Bug?"
I'm using IE 5.5 and I haven't had any problems with any other site.
I guess I'm not getting that date with the super model. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

I wanted dubbed Versions of those movies, and I won't settle for anything less. If they can do it for the series, I don't see why they can't do it for the Space Ship Yamato movies.

yes they are subtitled-- but they are worth watching--except for Yamato the movie--which is just the first series in movie form edited and shortened and such.

I'm still hoping for a dubbed Version, but I'll be willing to check them out as I can find them. But I don't want to pay $29.95 for a dvd, especially when I can go to Wal-Mart and buy a brand new dvd coming out from anywhere between $13-16.

Yeah, those DVD's are expensive. I haven't seen any Yamato DVD's around, but I saw other anime ones. When I was doing my Christmas shopping, I saw a boxed set of DVD's for the complete series of Neon Genesis Evangelion, but the price was something like $277 for it. There was also a Gundam Wing boxed set which was also quite expensive, I forget the price.

the DvD's for both the series and the movies are listed at $20.50 at www.starblazers.com (http://www.starblazers.com)

Homey don't do that. If they had the option of paying by check or money order, I'd do it. Those prices aren't that bad. If anybody finds another website that will let you pay by other than credit card, and have similiar prices, let me know.

The only store I know of in Tampa that carries the Star Blazers dvds/videos is Suncoast Motion Picture. Like I've mentioned before, they usually sell the dvds at $29.95. There might be other stores that carry them, but since this particular store is in the mall near where I work, it's the one I'm most familiar with. Now, there's a couple of used cd/dvd stores near where I work also, and I'll check them out from time to time. Right now, the only ones they have are 1st season. You might want to check out that website that Imperial mentioned. I just don't have a credit card I can use right now.

I hear ya on the credit card-- but you can also use a check/debit card( visa logo) or you can now also get prepaid visa/ mastercards--which is cool cause you put down lets say 50 bucks--and thats exactly what ya have to spend on the card. I got a few of them this christmas and i used them to order some stuff via the net-- came in very handy. just a thaught ))))

Thanks for the info.
