Hi,
Do any of you people use MSN Messenger? I just installed it and my contact list is basically empty. So when I click on the 'Play a Game' link it says none of my contacts are Online and doesn't let me go further. I was wondering what the games were and if anyone wanted to try them out with me.
Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I use it almost exclusively now. ICQ became more of a problem then a useful tool. Trillan, a good program, crashes to much for me.

I have never used the Play a game feature of MSMessinger.

Just a warning to be careful. A new rash of viruses / worms are beginning to be released targeting IM's. Here's a recent one targeted at MSN Messenger..

Let's face it; it is using the "wide open" Port 80....

Trillian. On all mediums that are with the basic program, and the Jabber plugin (I don't have any Jabber contacts, I just wanted to see how it worked http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif )
About needing to manually connect to Yahoo, I remember having to do that until they came out with a patch for some problems with Yahoo connections. If you're running 0.74, make sure you have patch F installed, and if you have Pro, get the Yahoo patch.
AIM, ICQ, and MSN are in the profile. Email == MSN.
--edit: Well, email shows when I edit my profile, but not when you click the link http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/blush.gif

Hmm... that is silly. There should be an option to allow others to see your email address. My MSN is kazharii at hotmail dot com.

What I'd like to know is how to get IM off my new computer. I can't even exit from it if I'm running Outlook Express, it says IM is a necesssary component. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

If you've do the windows update thing and installed the critical update stuff recently, you should find it in the add/remove programs, windows components section.
Otherwise, http://www.google.ca/search?q=xp+remove+msn&ie=ISO-8859-1&hl=en&meta=
says you should run the following commandline
Start->Run-> [see below]

Google can tell you how to tweak XP (as well as all other OS) however you wish in no time.
