Hey,
i just visited this cribbage project on Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ultimatecrib/). I enjoy playing the current Version of ultimate cribbage so that's the reason i follow this project too.
I looked at the members and so "David Gervais" being listed. Is to you, "our" David http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif ?

I'm currently teaching my wife to play it.
As for Online play: it's difficult for me as i'm only Online a few evening a week anymore and i'm in Belgium so probably at least 6 hours "ahead" of you.
But i might be interested in a game.

I already had a bunch of graphics I did for my own crib game. I was looking for a good cribbage game on the net and found the link to Ultimate Cribbage. I contacted the dev team and offered the graphics I had and even made a bunch of new decks, card backs and crib Boards. I'll also be helping make the GUI a bit better looking.
And IMHO, Ultimate Cribbage has very good AI. I beat the comp about 50-65% of the time.
Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

That's cool. I beat the computer about 55% of the time. Beaten the AI 4 times with a skunk and no skunks against.
The AI is indeed pretty good. I'm looking forward to the new game. I wish they programmed it in java and not .net so i could also run it in Linux. But hey, it's free so why complain he? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
