Compared to VHS, the sound is much better and the images much crisper - pretty much what you would expect from a DVD. Have not viewed the special features yet, but that was not a selling point with me. I have waited many, many years for B5 on DVD, and I am very happy with the presentation. Hec, even my wife likes the B5 DVDs.

This Last B5 Season 4 DVD collection is utterly horrible quality wise.

I look at B5 and compare it to SG, and I have to say that ALL of Stargates digital props, ships, sets, and people look soooooooooooo much better than B5's.

SG has a higher budget and is newer. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif That, and its props and sets really aren't better than B5, about the same.

I only have season 1 of Babylon 5 on DVD.

Can't help you on a review of the B5 sets. I can't afford these over $100+ dvd sets at this point in time. I got season 1 & 2 of the X-files, but that was using pLastic, and I've stopped doing that. Got season 1 & 2 of 24, and Battlestar Galactica, all with cash. I guess one of these days I'll put some of these sets on layaway. either that, or pray to win the lottery.
