Give them a break, Paul.
The game plays fine as it is, and I respect Aaron all the more for doing this patch, which he really doesn't have to do. He could be like most of game designers out there, and once the game is finished, just forget about it and create the next one to make money with.
I'd rather wait another 4 months and have the patch perfect (or close too).

Im right there with barron. I would be happy to wait till may to get the patch if it gives modders more flexibility.

I totally agree with you guys. Actually, the constant badgering about the new patch has been annoying for a long time now....

No offense intended to anyone

All, I'm going to say about the next SE4:Gold Patch is that The most important reason Aaron is making it is to add some of the much requested features from his fans/customers. Sure there will be a few fixes thrown in for good measure but ultimately this final patch before SE5 is Aaron's way of saying "Thank You", and "I here you." Which Is about a million miles above what most of the game developers out there do.

Here's my quote..

"Aaron, you're welcome. And thank YOU for listening to your fans and customers. I wish all game development companies followed your development ethics. Keep up the fantastic work."

nuf said, Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
