Hello, Everyone
I was thinking that it might be nice if a "Weekend Warrior" PBW game was set up where the players involved would agree to play as many turns as possible over the weekends. (Like a PBW-Athon but stretched over a 48 hour period.) During the week, the turns would be set at 24 hours to get at least a turn/day in before the next weekend arrives.
Personally I think it might even be possible to create several "Weekend Warrior" Games and make it a kind of tournament. (Think KoTH but with say 4 players in each game.) The key to this is of course the "Weekend Warrior" theme where all players in a game commit to get in as many turns as possible over the weekends. "Group Marathon sessions" would be encouraged, In fact the second round slots could be filled in a first win first come basis.
I know this is probably not a novel idea, but what do you think? Anyone interested?
Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
P.S. We could use #se4 at gamesurge.net as our meeting ground.
