can someone tell me what's wrong

Space Empires is telling me I have no value in here for the abilites. It is probably something rather minor (I'm hoping), but it is really vexing me. If it matters I upgraded to 1.91 (though I don't see any changes in the 1.91 vehicle designs)

That is ok, I have been modding for just over a year and the other day, yesterday, I was pulling may hair out trying to figure out an interesting problem.

The AI did not have access to ship construction in the design window, nor did it have access to its own custom racial trait.

I checked everything, twice to be safe, and still nothing. Finally I gave up, after hours of banging my head against the monitor, and asked Fyron.

His first statement was "Check the racial trait."

I tell ya, when miss something as simple as that, a misspelling of a word in one of the most obvious places, you really feel the hurt.

I had not checked the racial trait. The ONLY file I had not checked. And sure enough that was the culprit.

One of the most common problems are misspellings and extra spaces between entries. And often more than not, a fresh pair of eyes can find the problem in second whereas we have exhausted hours.
