Is there an easy way to take the pictures from an existing shipset and edit them so that only the color is different? What I'd like to do is this: I like the standard Cryslonite shipset but I don't like the pinkish color. Is there some way to edit each of the pictures in a paint program, so that instead of pinkish, they are green or blue?

I experimented a bit with changing the hue/saturation, brightness etc but don't get good results. When I do somehow get the color to change to green, the black background also becomes greenish so that's not good. I'd appreciate advice on this. Thanks!

I guess I just needed to use the right program. It worked when I opened the pictures with Pixia and used the Color Balance command to increase the green component by 25%. It wasn't as easy trying to do this with ImageForge.

Yes of course it can be done. Need proof? Check out Atrocities Crugarian shipset and then take a look at my Spelunkers shipset in my Miner's Guild mod. See any difference?

Oh, And I used ArtGem to color and paint the spelunkers.

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I used a shareware 30 day trial program called eyebatch to turn the vikings into the valkyries.
