It wants my phone number with a 'country code', but the first box only has room for three digits. huh? It's little list says Canada's country code is 1.

Apparently, there TOS gives them the right, under certain conditions, like if your paid off with a stolen credit card, to grab all your money. go here: http://paypalsucks.org/
going with EBgames.com. Speak now, or I'll sue you if I don't get the game.
Just kidding.

I have bought games from EB stores, but never off of line. Like with anything buyer beware.
Most banks now offer an account that you can set up for specifically this purpose. You simply put X amount of $ in it and whenever it is accessed illegally, as if, your not going to loose your lifes savings.
My mother was ripped off through Pay Pal for $1,020 dollars Last year and is still fighting to get her money back. They "froze" her account because some arse hole back east said he did not get his merchandise, (Yet he signed for it and USPS did deliver it to the Post Office where he HAD TO SHOW I.D. to get it.)
PayPal also hires some of the lowest forms of life imaginable to "work" there. These low life SOB's are often only there to run a scam and get out. PayPal often "quitely terminates" these people to avoid bad publicity.
Think of PayPal as being run by the Mob. Remember how the Mob once controlled the Unions and how much money they made? Well the same thing here, the same kind of cut throat ruthless people run PayPal.
Everyday I keep my PayPal account open is a day that I worry. I have hope that I will not be scammed, but having an account with PayPal is like gambling in LasVegas. The house ALWAYS wins.

For donating to PBW. Of course under PayPals SOP, once I give PBW more than one donation, I am "red flagged" and my account can be seized.

Oh Damn, I was going to contribute again... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
But now, I will not be giving PayPal the updated credit card information. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif
Maybe GEO would rather have gift certificates to Olive Garden or Red Lobster? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
But I don't have his address...
... oh well, more for me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Geo has a P.O. Box for people who don't want to use PayPal:
PBW
P.O. Box 31549
Dayton OH 45437-1545
Checks should be made out to George Perley.
(This info used to be on the PBW Home page, but seems to have disappeared. The address is still good, though.)

Actually, that PO Box is being shut down. If you've already sent it I'll get it, but I am going to close down the PO Box at the end of the month when it expires. We just don't get enough traffic in it to warrant the fee to keep it up.
If there is anyone that wants to donate and they have a problem with Paypal, send me an email and I'll give you my address. I'm not going to post my home address though. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Geo, are the donations still helping? Duhhhh, dumb question. What I mean is, are you still receiving donations?
You don't have to answer if you don't want too. I know the Last time I donated it was only $5.00 or so ( http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif sorry I wish it could have been a lot more) and that was when I discovered the "red flag" repeat business = seized funds policy at PayPal.

We have been getting enough to pretty much cover the expenses. It's helped that the expenses have gone down when I switched ISP's.
