This is what I do (or used to do as I don't play against the AI any more):

I would re-do the turn. If that didn't help, I would back up a turn and start from there...assuming you have the backup available.

I don't know what causes the errors but I've read too many fighters at a place or renaming ships to a ship with the same name.

If you can go back a turn, consider just not doing your turn and submitting it right away...it would be better to get the game going again while "missing" a turn than to lose the whole game.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
I'm gonna try that.
I hope it works.
Not easy to lose a game by turn 266.

Also if you can play the AI turns for them. Sometimes this helps as well.

The old RCE problem is still alive and well. (Range Check Error)

I'm in big trouble.
I fininshed my 266 turn in my current game, I click "End turn", and all the 20 AIs did their turns, but when it got back to me for my 267 turn, I got an error message that says "Integer overflow". Whether I click ok or not, I can't continue playing.
Every time I reload, the same happens again.

Any idea what may be wrong?
Thanks.
