looking for the manual on file

Good day citizens!

I'm hoping that anyone from the SE4 realm can assist me with info regarding any sources for the manual of this game. I picked up SE4 in a used bargain bin and it was the cd only. I have tried the tutorial but find the "lesson" only partly satisfying, and as I have tried to find it on my own on several sites, the company's/developers sites, etc. w/o success I would appreciate the help.

IIRC the manual is on the CD too.

You're not missing much, the manual isn't that great.

Hello!

Look in your CD in a folder called Extras, you will find a file called SpaceEmpManual.zip. I it you have a .pdf file and a text file. At least this is in my SE4 CD...

There is also a manual included in the install, in the Manual subfolder of the se4 folder. It is not the normal manual at all, but a HTML document with different information and such. Check it out as well.
