I have been gettign scads of bounced emails today for Messages from PBW that could not be delivered. All of them are from the Hotmail postmaster. The way I figure it either Hotmail is having a problem in general, or they have decided that PBW is a spammer and started blocking us.
Can any PBW'ers that have hotmail accounts as your PBW email tell me if you are getting anything at all? Turn notices, game news, etc.

I use Hotmail for all my PBW mail goodness. I am receiving game notices, and turn notices as usual.

My hotmail account is recieving new turn notices fine. Maybe it's blocking turn notices with .zip attachments???

Displaced Hotmail Users should find other services, there's plenty out there.

I have been having the same problem quite often with Hotmail, as *many* emails bounced from this... erh... thing will do. The size for the attachments is supposed to have been reduced to 512ko as well, but I cannot remember where I read it.

I receive new turn notifications, but i had to include all game owners emails into safe list. Otherwise emails from them are put into Junk Folder automatically.

Well, it might have been a temporary problem. The number of bounced emails has dropped way off now, back to a normal level. Maybe Hotmail was just having some problems for a time and then got it fixed.

A while back my Hotmail account was flooded with emails from Administrator bots saying a email I'd sent was denied -- and I hadn't sent any emails. So I figure this is just a virus running around that has made people make their servers a little more sensitive. Back then the problem ISP's were bigfoot.com/net, america.com/net, rocketmail.com/net and so forth -- just hotmail's turn I guess.

I think that restriction is just for sending emails, not receiving. So as far as I know, you can still receive attachments in excess of 1MB.

Hotmail has a 2Mb storage limit, any email that would take the account over that is bounced
And hotmail accounts can only send emails that are 1Mb and below in size
Only limit in recieving is what storage you have left
Lucky me, my email address has like a 100Mb storage and the limits are... well... I dont know, Wydraz has once sent me a 8mb file
And I have two of these beauties for free http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
