Yes, there's getting to be to many caribou in Vancouver. Even the timbits aren't enough now.

Also, all of us add "eh" to the end of our sentences when we talk. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I don't know anybody who does that!

Of course, Canadians have just as many misconceptions about Americans as Americans have about Canadians. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I don't know anybody who does that! <font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well, I do add "eh" to my sentences sometimes. Not often, but where it fits http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

And Fyron, I'd wager the average American has more misconceptions about Canada, than Canadians have about America.

I hear Canadians get a free voucher ration for Kokanee or Moosehead Beer! They still drive Studabakers/Avanti's, and are good with Duct Tape origami. Regina (rhymes with...) has a good internationally famous ballet company. And seems all good sci-fi shows are coming out of Vancouver! And as for Baby Harp Seals...I hear they secrete a life saving medicine from their brains when hit. Yellow Knife sounds like a real rocking place to go!

Yellow Knife really does sound cool, just like Bad Axe Michigan!

One thing that Canadians can do is Spell 'Canada' using only 3 letters..

C 'eh, N 'eh, D 'eh.

hmm...might want to explain that first statement a bit. There's a Canadian-made comedy show called This Hour Has 22 Minutes, in the form of a news show, and one of the segments they make is called TALKING TO AMERICANS and yes, it's printed and sounds like that when they say the name.

They had an hour-long compilation of segments. Basically, they find an american and some of these people are college students and proffeser's, being fooled about their area of expertise. Obviously, some people go along with it for a joke, but some people are all to obviously fooled.

Heh, I have no idea if this is true or not, but I once read somewhere following conversation between George W. Bush and some finnish man:

GWB: Hello, where are you from?
finnish man: I am from Finland
GWB: Oh really? I haven't visited that state yet.

However, there actually is three or four places in USA, which are called "Finland". Don't ask me where, but I once saw them in some map in internet. One was in east coast, one was somewehere near Chicago and one might have been in middle west. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
