I saw in one of your Posts that there is an AI txt file that is not used. I have a couple of questions about that.
1. Which file(s) were they?
2. Did MM say when they would fix that? It seemed like a pretty crippling bug.
3. Why not modify the generic file, instead of the specific race AI file?
Thanks very much for your hard work. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

It was the "[Race]_Strategies.txt" file placed in a race's subdirectory. Unfortunately, since all the races currently use the "Default_AI_Strategies.txt" file in the AI directory, you would effectively modify all the races with any changes you made to the Default file. I also think the "[Race]_Planet_Types.txt" file behaves the same way, but I have not verified this yet. I cannot say what MM plans to do, other than I am sure Mephisto reported the bug to him.

So this isn't really a bug, just a requested feature? I don't see that file in the races subdirectories...

All the AI races just use the Default_AI_Strategies.txt in the AI folder.
Normally, a race uses first the RaceName_* files in its race folder but the Default_AI_Strategies.txt is used even if a race specific file is in place. That's the bug and it prevents changing the target priorities in combat and forming larger fighter Groups at launching.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but how does modifications to my files effect multi-player games I am participating in? Specifically, I am exhanging an IGO/UGO file where all the NPRs process after me? And I am playing, a similtaneous game as the second player? Thanks.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Tampa_Gamer summed it up.
BTW the bug is not that crippling just annoying.
I cannot comment on the Planet.txt bug, never used this one...
