Mephisto(or anybody who knows), my apologies for a seeming stupid question but I just got my copy of the game...what directory do I unzip your mod into?

You unzip it into a scratch directory (doesn't really matter where), and it creates a folder named "Space Empires IV Modification". In that folder, there's a Readme.txt, a Backup folder (in case you want to go back to pre-Mephisto files) and a MOD folder. As Readme.txt says (well, after I corrected a typo), "Just copy all folders contained in the MOD-folder to your SE4 folder and override every old file."
My question for Mephisto is this: I play with 5000-point races (although I only spend 2000), and I want the Earth Alliance to be in every game, so I need to add it in by hand. What should I spend those extra 3000 points on? Advanced Storage Techniques? Extra mining/etc. abilities? Any ideas what would help the Earth alliance most?

Damn typos. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif
The default for more points are "hardy industrialists", "advanced power" and "advanced storage".
