I'm trying to cut back on a few SEIV games so I can devote more time to my dissertation. Would anyone out there have any interest in picking up a position of mine that is in a pretty good spot in a PBW game?
It's the Exiles of Kor in the 001 Ultimate game. Basically, they're religious & psychic humans with a nifty history.
001 Ultimate is a relatively epic game, with a role-playing (rather than "kill or be killed") feel, and although we're on turn 80 or so, it's a large universe with high tech cost, so it is still in the opening stages and there is a lot of room for expansion...Tech is still in the relatively beginning stages (most empires appear to be at tech levels 50-80 or so). The empire almost but not quite has the Talisman, for example. They're at peace with all their neighbors at the moment, too. Also, it's a DevNull game.
The only weird thing is that I made a public announcement that I will limit myself to 10 talisman only, so as to get away from their unbalancing effects as well as to just see what it is like if I limit it in that way.
It's a good game with some interesting but low maintenance politics..I would stay in but I really need to get to work on my school stuff.
Just thought I'd ask...if no one takes it I'll remain in the game...
thanks,
Alarik
