Thanks for the help Guys,
I used the advice of closing way points, and that was exactly what I needed, I quickly built up a defeat of immense size, formed a very formidable economy, due to the fact I had been worn down by war, took my fleet through one wp, destroyed all of their home stars...and fought THIS WAR ON MY OWN DAMN TERMS!!...thanks
