With the size of this forum, and ever growing, the wealth of info avalible here is astounding. Narf's searching for help and Atrocities needing networking advice prompted me to make this poll.

I needed a graphics program just yesterday so I checked here first before looking anywhere else and found Real-DRAW Pro. What an amazing prog that little baby is.

Thanks guys.

Interesting Topic. It is amazing how much info is in this forum. My god if it were a mine, it would be heavy producing Gold mine.

Use the forum as a resource tool? Sure. You guys are sometimes better than the search engines.

Question 2 is a good example of forgetting some of the most likely and/or reasonable responses:

Do you ever search the Forum for info unrelated to SE?

Constantly 88% (7)
Not on your life! 0% (0)
Where's the Search button? 13% (1)

It is a great resource, mostly for SEIV and sci-fi stuff, of course. I really hope it is backed up somewhere. I'd pay like $5 to have a CD Version of the whole Shrapnel forum history. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I tried to use it to find some interesting films I hadn't seen. It wasn't as useful as I'd hoped on that score.

But there is tons of good stuff here, and not all about SE4.
