View Full Version : Real problem with all races being "peaceful" after v1.19

I have installed the latest patch and all my races (before and after the patch) have a setting of peaceful.

What is going on here?

Does anyone else see this? Tampagamer states his changed to be a mix of peaceful, neutral, and bloodthirsty (with v1.19), but after 3 installs and uninstalls mine do not.

They are all set to a peaceful happiness type. But their personality types are not all peaceful that is the difference. You are talking about two different things. A computer set to neutral or bloodthirsty happiness right now would probably not work well. They make treaties at the drop of a hat then break them. Maybe if you always played in team mode where AI's automatically attacked you bloodthirsty might work but everytime it made a treaty of trade alliance or better its happiness would go down and its productivity bonuses would be lessened. I would like to have a few bloodthirsty aliens out there but so far I haven't seen any that really act that way all the time. Some do seem to hate me on sight even before the mega evil empire sets in now though.

Edit: Ok I read the other thread he is talking about happiness but I still think that the other styles would hurt the AI untill they actually start acting differently also. I would really like to see that hapopen though.
