Why am I still only a corporal?? What do I have to do to get promoted around here?!!! I want to be an officer and a gentleman!!

I'm afraid I must inform you that your service was a little below average so that a promotion will have to be delayed.

No to be serious I think rank depends on numbers of Messages posted and you will be seargent soon( after you pass the 100 Messages line) check the profiles of your brothers in arms for more detail
