Surely I'm just missing something obvious, but is there a quick way to select a planet in a sector that has other items like satellites and ships? Basically, to skip the selection box that comes up after selecting the sector to cut right to the planet. I like to select the planets a lot, to get to their queues and cargo from the main screen, but this gets to be a hassle with anything else at the sector, and the big empire-spanning lists seem an awkward way to do it.

If it were me, I'd make it so when you click on a sector with more than one planet but only one colony, the colony is auto-selected. You can also click the little back arrow in the corner to go back and look at the unpopulated worlds if'n you have a need to. Same thing for the Next/Previous Colony selection buttons.

But that's just me. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

I don't think there are many good choices. I don't understand why the "next ship" button moves between ships, but the "next planet" button actually moves between sectors. I really think "next planet" should move directly to the Next Planet.
