Mood v. Treaty Status

I noticed that some of the AI I was at war with had a mood of warm, receptive or amiable toward me. I'm not sure how to interpret this. Does this mean they are cheerfully blowing me away?

What I found strange is that once I happened to look into a computer player's turn and saw that on his screen he had our relationship as brotherly, meanwhile mine said angry. I figured that both would be the same. Guess he didn't have a clue that I was pissed at him.
