I misunderstood and unzipped the mod-pack w/o installing the EA first.
So, I erased SE4, reinstalled it and then went to get the EA shipset... but CAN'T http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif
I tried typing in the address, and then going to the mod section here and clicking the link and both would not work.
Am I able to use the other parts of the mod without this or will it crash the game? And/Or is there another place to get the EA?
Thanks http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Just don't add the EA as an empire and delete their picture\race subdirectory until you can get the shipset. FYI - I find it helpful to keep an "SE 4 Downloads" folder so that I can always go back and re-install a shipset, mod, etc.

Does anyone know where I can get EA??
Or, would someone email it as an attachment? (jason.hickman@ptsem.edu)

Okay, but what if you fight the Earth Alliance and end up at their homeworld, do you have to surrender? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

Actually, I think that might be a requirement for a Minbari shipset. The Shadow and Vorlon shipsets would be required to leave the quadrant if they are told to get the hell out of the galaxy by a bunch of younger races and one very old geezer.

And don't forget the Narn shipset and empire file. Really cool looking ships that can't seem to fire straight when in combat against ships of the Great Centauri Republic. Oh and the inherent ability of the Narn homeowrld to serve as an "asteroid catcher" whenever someone enters orbit with mass drivers. Oh and don't forget that the Narn can not have any psychic or telepathic advances in their tech tree at all, (not unless we are going to introduce "dust"into the game to allow the Narns an occasional vison as to why they will never get beyond being at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to the hierarchy of the younger races. But then, I digress

Vir! You have made a mess of this post once again, now give me a large cup of brivari so that I may begin to forget the bad times and remember the glory of the great Centauri Republic.

Ah, the Centauri are speaking! And in the way we love them. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif
Wait for the deeply religious Narn to catch your ships out there. And remember, who Last bombs the enemy homeworld bombs best. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

BTW Mephisto, do you still need a beta tester for the Narn? I am getting mental numbness testing the Brachyura at the moment and would like a break.
