Need Quadrant Type Info

As they say - "a picture is worth a thousand words". In the setup menu choose "generate map" and this will show you the galaxy based on the type of quadrant chosen.

One other important difference is that ancient galaxies have more black holes.

Yes. I picked Ancient type and find a LOT of black holes and systems with just warp points. Takes quite a while to get anywhere in early part of the game.

Mid life galaxies have tones of planets, and few BH.

Ancient has tons of Black Holes and few systems with planets. (I like this setting the best as it allows for more game challenge)

You can always look through the "QuadrantTypes" file in the Data directory to see more precise breakdowns of each quadrant type...

Yes, I see a word that days what quadrant type you can select to set up a game.... such as Ancient, Spiral etc. But What do they mean? Any good descriptions you can help with ?
