I just saw something totally new and surprising. A new neutral race just appeared out of nowhere. Apparently, a planet belonging to an existing neutral revolted and formed a new empire. The new neutral has a new picture, but clicking the Report button reveals the same blurb and characteristics s the parent Neutral race.

Now I ask you, is that just too damn cool, or what? GODS, I love this game!

A new picture? Usually, the "revolting" race keeps the same picture AND race description... especially since the race description generally describes the picture... hmmmmm...

Also interesting that one of the neutrals would lose a planet to rebellion...

Neutrals revolting? Of course they are! Especially the ones with the mohawks and noserings. Sheesh. That is ugly.

Oh, the other revolting... http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

"What do -you- want?" "I'd like to live -just- long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this..." *waggle* "...can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mr. Morden?"

It just happened again, not 2 years later. This time it was one of my planets that rebelled, and they were not mad at all, either. They were "Jubiliant" (sic) on one turn, and the next turn they revolted.

This time they kept the same picture, BTW.
