I thought picking workers for a culture was supposed to modify your production +5% (ie resources, since scientist=research).

Is this broken, or does that 5% really modify something else?

It modifies the construction speed of your race (it adds 5% to 'Construction Aptitude' racial ability), not the amount of resources extracted from planet.

I think that workers increase resources (minerals, farming, rad extraction) production, engineers add 5% to construction.

Yeah, you are right, it should increase resource production, not construction rate. My mistake. Somehow I thought you were talking about the engineers, seems I should read more carefully when I stay up late at night. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon12.gif

No problem. Regardless, I'm not getting that extra 5% bonus, so I'm assuming that it's broken. Thanks.
