AI wanted

I have a half finished shipset and I need someone to make AI files for it. I thought that I could do all pictures and someone else all the other stuff because I not very good modder.

I made them all with Pov-Ray scene language. I know it isn't as easy to use as Moray but I think it better when you've learnt it.

all I get are shades of brown and black...

and never mind shaping something to look like a shiphull or even a misshapen box..or sphere...or whatever

Pathfinder,

Have you gone through the Moray tutorials? That's a good way to get the basic concepts down and find out how to attach a texture to a wireframe object so it will render. All 3D modeling is layering a bunch of basic shapes together so that they form the object you want. You can overlap them, don't forget. Start with a sphere. Just by elongating it on one axis you can greate a basic rocket shape. Flatten 3 more spheres on the z axis and elongate them slightly and, tadah, you have fins. Just position them so they are sticking in one end of your rocket sphere at the right angles, attach textures and render. You should get something you like that way.
