I decided that I wanted some other romulan ships that looked a bit more like Romulan ships than remeshed Warbirds. So I did some messing around, and ended up with these ships. http://www.angelfire.com/zine/cnchome/bat.html

I am curios as to what you think.

I am also working on Ferengi, and Cardassian ships. Should have 6 each coming tonight. Also two new ones for the Klingons.

Thanks Pathfinder. I brightened the ships up a tad. There are two screen caps on that page now. They may take a second to load, please be patient.

Let me know which set you like the best. The dark set, or the light set.

Thanks

IMHO, bottom one is best.

The darker one is more 'realistic'. I really think that ships in space would look more like that than the "Ship in a spotlight" look that Star Trek has taught us to expect. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif But most of the other shipsets that come with the game are also quite bright. The Xiati and the Sallega are the only real exceptions and they can be very difficult to spot on the system screen. So, the brighter set is better in terms of game play even if it's less 'realistic'.

Thanks for the feed back. I have put the lighter set into a zip file that can be downloaded from my site. (It also includes the 3d images) (Look in the NEWS section)

I will post the Cardassian and the Ferengi as soon as possible.

I am also going to gather some of the minor races and such for filler ships and fighters.

Except a full Version within a week.

The more ships we can select to use, the more exciting our adventure.
