Fyron, while some pols are useless, they do make for interesting diVersions. I voted 'Yes' because I'm intelligent enough to decide weather or not I'll cast a vote in a poll. The fact that there are some useless polls does not in the least bother me. I just ignore them. And besides, it's not like the forums here are flooded with polls. If there were all of a sudden to be an over abundance of polls that served no usefull purpose then I might get mildly annoyed. But so far this has not been the case.

I like using polls only 77% of time. What a shame you don't have such option http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Kidding, I like them - best way to organize vox populi.

I enjoy them as long as the polls are either for fun (funny) or are informative. In addition, sometimes the topics are of interest to the game companies and designers and may effect the way they design, market, etc their games. It also sheds light on what other gamers, do, play, react, feel, etc. makes for interesting reading and research. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
