There is a new game coming out from Strategy First called Supremacy. The designers are a new bunch in NY. The game is supposed to be a throwback to MOO etc. The website is at Supremacygame.com. The game concept is interesting (melds both space/ground combat in 3D), but there is very little info on it and the forum is practically vacant. Maybe worth a look...

After looking at the screenies and faq, I'm not to impressed...
"Combat happens both in space, where over a dozen unique ships attack and defend with a number of special attacks and upgrades, and on the ground, where armies clash using gigantic mechs, flamethrowers, suicide bombers and more."
So, a handful of common ships, and a couple of race-specific ones...
Common infantry, and a special unit or two for each race.
The economics look to be pretty simplistic, and unit stats are too.
It appears to have all the complexity of an RTS twitch-clicker (very little), but is turn based...

The demo, when it comes out, should nail things down.
I'll have to see what kind of replies my questions there get, too.
