View Full Version : Quickfix for MOD-Pack

I have just posted a quickfix for the MOD-Pack over in the MOD section. It does not alter any files but makes the MOD use the new MOD folder structure (or at least it should http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif).
The real update will arrive sometime next week.

I don't use a mod folder, I just add everything to the game folders. Will I have trouble installing/using the mod? Should I just move everything by hand to the proper folders?

Ok, once you have installed the MOD-Pack and thereby the ModPack-folder the program will draw all it's infos (exept the pictures) from this folder. The standart game folders become something like a backup but they are not funtional as long as you have the ModPack-folder as the active folder in the path.txt.
I.e.: If you want to use any more MODs then you have to put them in the ModPack-folder, too. Everything you just copied into the "Space Emire IV"-folder you now copy into the ModPack-folder.

Question on path.txt...
Do I have to change the path there or does the MOD-pack do that automatically..

The MOD does that for you.
