Hi all,

I saw the 1.91 update and decided to re-install SEIVG.

I downloaded the new TDM, re-downloaded the FQM Deluxe and all of the latest image, component, etc. mods.

I installed and patched up to 1.91. Every thing runs fine.

I installed the facilities, components, etc. mods. Everything runs fine.

I installed TDM. Again, everything fine.

I installed FQM Deluxe. Again, everything fine.

(By everything fine I mena that I started a game and ran it for 30 turns to check planet names system names, etc.

I then combined the TDM and FQM_D as per the instructions on the FQM website.

I ran a game and non of my systems have names, and all then planets are numbered with roman numerals with no other name.

Also, when building ships I often get the message that the name is already in use, but this is not the case.

I can't figure out what I have done wrong and I'm hoping for ideas.

Thanks

Copy SystemNames.txt (must be over 500 kb) from "FQMD" Data folder to "TDM+FQMD" Data folder.

Well, that fixed it. I don't know how I missed this file before.

Thanks

Now I have encountered a problem with one of the nebulae bmps.

I am going to re-copy all of the FQM stuff again.

You actually do not need any data files from TDM in the combo mod anymore, as all formations that are in TDM are in FQM Deluxe now. Just use the entire FQM Deluxe Data folder. When I make a new Version of FQM, the help file will be updated to reflect this.

This procedure is easiest:

Make a copy of the entire FQM Deluxe folder. Call it FQM-TDM or something. Or just use the base FQM Deluxe folder. Either way will work.
Copy the TDM-Modpack\Pictures\Races folder (the Races folder itself) into the FQM-TDM\Pictures folder.

That is all you need to do to combine the mods.
