Sound bug?

Hey all. I've been playing SE:4 just fine for a couple weeks, but recently I've been getting static pops w/ the sound (music, sound FX, etc.) A re-install didn't help. Any thoughts?

Does this happen with other games? If so, it might be your sound card or your speakers/headphones. If not, it seems odd that it's both the sounds and music, as the sounds come from .WAV files while the music comes from the CD... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

It doesn't happen on any other game. It is strange, as first it was just the FX, then today it became the music as well... curious.
