strange problem with graphics

Very odd situation: When I edit my race during game setup, there are no spaceships pictures on the left side of the scree. You know, below a planet.

I play AIC, latest patch. Same thing happens with Proportions. Unmodded game is fine. It start to happen only after the latest patch. Rest of the game is fine, all races pictures shows up perfectly fine. It is only during the game setup. Why ????

Does AIC use the stock races? If it does you can bet their AI folders have no pictures in and use the default ones in the Pictures/Races directory. I think it's when the mod chooses these folders to display a random image from and finds no images.
