No, it's really not boring. This is how to get traffic unstuck. Finally, an end to traffic jams!
This is not an in-character post.

As geekish as this sounds, I have pondered the similarity between traffic patterns and fluid dynamics many times over the years. Must be my geeky ME background. I have also tried some of those "anti-traffic" techniques the guy listed - and I can say that they do work.
But mostly in traffic I ponder the benefits of getting a helicopter. A military attack helicopter. With lots of guns and missiles to vaporize that BLEEPer up front causing the slowdown! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif THAT WILL TEACH HIM! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/mad.gif But I digress, besides, I don't think those things are for sale... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Or get one of those monster trucks with huge wheels that could just drive over and crush any cars in the way. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Sometimes, traffic jams happen for silly reasons, like drivers slowing down just to look at a guy who's stopped on the side of the road to change a tire. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Great site Narf!
But I wonder why so many people are in the wrong lane. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/confused.gif I have no trouble getting in the right lane early.

Wow. Could I really use this to make the Great Satan (the 405) stop taking years off my life?

I always thought a nice M1 Abrams would unjam traffic nicely.

Ahh, I did some of that unintentionally in Toronto and on Highway 8.

"Look ma, no hands!", "Wook ma, no teef!"
* For those who don't get it, that was originally a joke about a kid on a bike.
