The game is called "sphere galaxy" and it's open for everyone. We will use no mod. The map is a full grid where the border systems are connected to the oposite border as if it wes a sphere, so any players get's the corner player advantage http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif.

Another interesting thing to try is the merry-go-round map...
Take a spherical map like you have, and close all the half-warppoints leading up or to the left.
Now you'll have a spherical quadrant full of one-way warppoints so you can only travel right or down.
Enemy fleets will be pouring in from the top left, and the only way to counter-attack is to push down and right until you wrap around and hit the back side of your enemy's territory http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Wow, that's a lot of work :p
One-way warp points have to be done one by one. We(this map is done by a friend of mine) are playing a map with one-way warps and it worth.
I really wish the editor to be more usefull, maybe if Aaron shows us the source we could implement things like copy&paste systems functions or system/planets drag&drop, even one-way warps generation... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Its not too bad if you have randomly generated warppoints, and then just select & delete the halves you want.
Much easier to delete stuff than building it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

That kinda hurts my brain just thinking about it.
