You can find TDM modpack, updated to comply with changes in 1.91 patch here:
http://home.t-Online.de/home/320045362204-0001/
All new races made by Atrocities are 1.91 compatible: http://galileo.spaceports.com/~william/index.htm
A lot of shipsets can be found
here (http://www.spaceempires.net/home/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=7 )

All of the races at NASY are compatable with 191.
For links look in the New Members Look Here thread at the top of the Forum.

You can use one of the SE4 Companion's plugins to automatically update all installed shipsets in your Pictures\Races folder to be compatible with SE4 Gold. The server is apparently offline right now, but it should be back up soon, so keep checking this link:

I banged my head on the same thing. I finally just asked someone to zip up their races directory if they were using the same setup as mine (SEIV Gold w/ no mods). I got 4, and I unzipped the biggest one. Been doing fine ever since

Gandalf Parker, good point. Is it possible to do the same for me?

Im afraid that I have since polluted the files sent to me but we can take a shot at it.
What were your requirements?
SEIV Gold full patched?
Image mod? TDM mod? DevNull mod?
Personally I would like to see someone do an easy adds package for each. If they carry TDM mod for instance then offer a pictures.zip that works with it. Its hard to get from the basic package to the kind fo mega-choices that most of the players have now

There is no need... as stated, simply use the SE4 Companion to convert all AIs to be compatible with Gold...

What do you mean by easy adds package?
I don't see what TDM could need added to it, other than actually new AI races. It includes all of the AIs and images for the modified shipsets it uses... Adding extra races would not really improve it, as it would either add AIs that have not been so heavily tweaked and customized (defeating the purpose of TDM), or it would add duplicate AIs with different pictures. Any AI that works with SE4 Gold will immediately work in the latest TDM mod. It is merely a matter of creating an empty folder in the TDM\Pictures\Races folder with the same name as the shipset you have installed in the stock Pictures\Races folder... You can add more shipset variety simply by adding new shipsets you already have and copy over the AI files from various TDM races. It would not really behoove the TDM crew to officially dilute the work of the AI authors in such a manner...

I take that back. The SE4 Companion's Shipset Cleaner plugin is horribly broken in regards to AI General files... be very, very careful with it...

I will second that. I tried it after reading this thread and totally frelled the AI. NOT GOOD. Still the companion is a great tool to have though.

Nice. I was going to offer to host any large file and allow the web page person to link to it so they could provide the point of contact without having to bandwidth the huge file.
but BitTorrent is cool. GNU software is great to support.

Given that, the manual instructions for fixing shipsets are linked in my sig.

Hi. Me again. Sorry for annoyance.
Gandalf Parker, so what about that large ai zip compatible with the latest patch?
Atrocities, all of your races are ok with the patch. It is correct concerning non strar track races. And star track races on your site? Are they only for your mod use or are they just fine for the unmodded game with the latest patch without extra tewaks?
Plugin...... still have no idea of its... let`s say... usability http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
P.S. And again sorry for annoyance.

Did you miss my post? I have compiled 257 shipsets and created a torrent for it:
257 Shipsets (http://kazharii.no-ip.com:6969/details.tmpl?torrent_info_hash=05AC989DA5B6E7E9744 6417C9AF5602826A79DD0)
If you do not know how to use Bit Torrent, see the first post in this thread:

I did miss it. It states "All AIs should be Gold-compatible" and what about the Latest patch?

I think I can dig up the original one I was sent but Im no longer in that mode so I cant send mine. Im presently playing with a MOD named XperiMental which is a merging of pieces from .. I think 5 different mods now.
As to the one being offered on BitTorrent if someone wants to email it to me I will gladly provide a link for accessing it by browser. Since no one has requested domain hosting I may have to snag some cutesy domain name for SE stuff so I can park things nicely.
Send it to Gandalf @ Community . Internet
(without the Inter of course)

All I saw was information on getting it by downloading and installing a p2p program. Nice for people who have that but it doesnt seem like less trouble for the rest. As I said, if someone wants to email it to me then I can just save it to the harddrive and link it.
In general I have a thing about answers that involve downloading and installing something to make the answer work. Bits of code in Perl or C, Java programs, IRC, compression formats, viewing formats, etc etc. Thats why I was leary of making any of my code available until I could compile it.

I meant, you could save them the trouble by getting the file via BT, then hosting it, rather than waiting around for someone with a massive email inbox to send it to you via email...
Most activities require you to download something to get them to work if you don't already have the program that can do what you want to do... Unless you want to be silly and write your own program for every single task you ever do on a computer...

I tend to forget that so many people have limits on things like mailboxes and web space.
