I've been a fan of SEIII for a long while and I've been playing SEIV for a while too (and lurking around these forums for a bit too), just not against other players. I'm thinking of playing PBW some time soon and I was wondering if any of you guys would like to kick start my career.

The skill level doesn't matter. Fighting better players is the only way to get better, although I wouldn't like to die after 10 turns.

It is quite possible to die after ten turns. I just had an eleven turn game. That was a KOTH game though, and I knew I was dead by turn ten, so that's why. Clinging on as long as possible might be okay for a roleplaying or a fun game, but for competitive its usually easy to tell if you're too far behind to catch up.

Hmm, I joined War n Peace. I think I'll be in peaces by the end of this but I hope to at least learn something. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Oh, and I'm assuming I upload my empire file after I've been accepted to the game.

Assuming it is a new game, yes. If you join a game as a replacement, you use whatever empire was designed by the original player.

Yeah, it was a new game and I just uploaded my empire.

Just remember one thing Iasorjolt, PBW teaches quite a bit humility and your proven tactics against AI are useless there. However, I have found PBW thousand times more interesting than pLaying against AI. So good luck and enjoy. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
