I would like to add some tech to the biology tree.

A dormant virus designed to target one race. In its dormant state, it would spread throughout targets systems and planets, by ships passing by the effected planets.

When you´re ready, you activate the virus by a intel operation, causing massive plagues throughout the enemies systems.

The virus could lie dormant for many turns.

tactics(offensive):

1. The virus should be a component(0kt) and should only be seen by you. You add this component to a ship- travel to your ally, use his planet to resupply. The virus is transfered to the specific planet. From now on it works like a regular computer virus.

2. You give a infessted ship as a gift.

3. You let your ship be captured.

tactics(defensive):

1. A new component: A virus scanner.

2. Medical bays.

What would this accomplish:

1. PARANOIA

2. Alot of stress, trying to save your empire from multiple plagues.

3. More PARANOIA

Hey, thats a great idea.

I'm sorry to tell you that with the current restraints on SE4, you'd have to redisgn the whole game practically to get it working. . .

For many many people, its impossible. I'm sure Aaron would encounter some problems implementing it as well, if he ever wanted to.

It was just an idea.

I´m brainstorming at the moment.

More ideas to come!
