What am I doing wrong!??!

I'm trying to get images into a post on the boards here. It isn't working, so can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I upload a file as an attachment. Then I edit my post to include an the image that is shown in the attachment, like this:

However, all that shows up are the image tags and the url that was written above. What am I doing wrong??

1. Make sure it is a JPG, PNG, or Gif not BMP image.
2. Upload the image
3. Right click on the attachment
4. Copy the properties
5. Paste the properties into your post with the PROPERTIES Tages

Bmp does not work here. Convert it to PNG and try again.

Ah, thanks a lot, both of you. Stupid bmp's...grr. I've converted to PNG and now it works perfectly. Once again, thank you so much!

BMPs are brutally large.
Never use them uncompressed on the internet http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
