View Full Version : A rant & an opening on the 2nd turn for Zeta 2!

Hi all.

A brief rant: if you're gonna miss turns and delay a game, don't do it on the first turn of a game with 19 players that I really hyped and advertised.

And an announcement: I am looking for a new player for the Zeta 2 game. This is only the SECOND turn of the game, and the AI ran the person's first turn. In other words, the game has JUST started, so it would be no handicap at all to jump in right now. It's the Zedron empire in the Zeta 2 game. It's a large game, with a backstory and a unique map. It is also no religious, no intel, no mines, no fighters and a few other settings (see the game site for more details).

The backstory for the game is not vital for playing it, but is located here (http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=328437&page=2&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1) if you want to look at it.

Jump in and claim it now, since I am gone for the weekend. Game is currently set on 36 hour turnaround, but I expect it to go faster for this first stage...

Thanks!

Alarik

If needed, I believe one of the PBW admins could approve a player while you are away, though I am not exactly sure how their powers work.

On another note, have you checked the PBW password for this Empire? (You can get it by applying for the position yourself and approving yourself) It should be correct of course, but...

Yeah, password should be fine, no turn was played by the prior player...

Ping!

Thanks,

Alarik

My concern was more like "the player didn't bother to give a correct password"; the password was indeed not changed in the game.

I am not sure what's up with that, but that looks odd indeed. We shall see if Alarik got a mail from the original player (there has been no public comment).
