Why not submit the planets to the image mod (http://imagemodserver.mine.nu/other/MM/SE4/imagemod/) instead? There is already something called a planet pack.
Also, the system images might be better off having different names (adding a short prefix as in "pre_nebulae2" is handy) so that they do not conflict with other mods. A simple data mod can be provided to use them instead of stock images.
It is a good idea to remove thubs.db from archives. It si a useless file to the rest of us' and is making your planet pack at least half a meg larger than it needs to be.

Yeah I know, but, ah, back at the Image Mod page I read: Submissions are accepted in the Image Mod Thread over at ShrapnelGames. So I figured this was it?!
I added the prefix "syp_" to the system pack images, that should prevent conflict. Just use SystemTypes.txt to see them in-game.
The Image Mod planet pack adds more planets, mine just replaces the old ones. Should work fine together. But ok, I'll rename it. Worldpack seems a fitting alternative.
Thumbs.db. Right, stupid of me. Fixed it.

The image mod thread link is still linking to the old forum software. The actual thread is:

Right, I'll remove my posts here, then I'll check it out. Thanks.

Did you ever do anything with this, or is it just a " one-off " idea ?
