Most of the time, yes they are. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif MM hasn't been very good about updating the 'official' site lately. Maybe that will change with the drive to get SE V out the door.

I would say that the site won't stay updated, we have already bugged DEG so much about the site. I think we are gonna drive him to run away and live out the rest of his days alone in the canadian wilderness.

I guess the next big news will be the demo release. It would be cool if there was a limited release of a beta demo, and a few more of us got to have a go at it. Hint…Hint…

If he wanted more beta testers he would have chosen more. Developers often don't like to release beta code because..well, it looks bad. Its ussually bug-ridden and a lot of the time looks like ***.

Well...
Depends on the product we're talking about. A limited beta is good, because you're not overwhelming the dev with multiple reports of the same bug. Its more manageable.
