Greetings!

In an effort to increase awareness about the Space Empires series of games and its community, the Space Empires Network has been formed to help promote fan sites dedicated to the series.

http://www.captainkwok.net/images/se-network375x60.png

At this time, the network is small and consists only of sites by myself, Fyron, and Combat Wombat - but our goal is to help create and maintain a vibrant and dynamic online community. You can view the network home page here: Space Empires Network (http://network.spaceempires.net/)

The site also contains information on how you can have your website listed on the network.

Thanks out to Combat Wombat who originated the idea of the network, and for Fyron for setting up a fantastic "hub" site.

What, you don't want to be the one and only poster in whatever forum you're referring to? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

It's a quote. Quotes should not be altered...or else they would no longer be quotes!

Thank you. Yes.

Also, where's the typo? "Couple days" is exactly the correct spelling.

I did NOT alter the quote, I simply made those two words bold. As for the rest, it's autherntic, see Turin's sig.

I know. I checked his sig before I posted that, and I still don't see anything wrong in it.

Can we please keep this thread on topic? Thanks!

Stop being silly Strategia. He meant that I didn't alter the spelling in my sig because it's a quote. If you quote something and put it in your sig, you leave it the way it is. And douglas makes a point, "a couple days" has no misspelling. Are you implying clumsy? Like it should say "a couple of days"?

Anyway, it's quoted "as is" and I ain't changin' it.

And now back to topic... nuf said.

LG Capt.Kwok, For a site to be included in your list of links does it have to be loaded with content for the benefit of the community, or can it just be some goof-induced geek-spawn like mine?

Any site with a majority of Space Empires content is welcomed. This includes general SE sites, SE mod sites, and SE roleplaying/fan fiction sites. Your site would probably fall under the RP category.

It also doesn't mean that everyone has to go out and emulate SE.net or anything - in fact it'd probably be more beneficial if site owners attempted to dig up their own unique content - such as their favourite SE4 tactics, stories, pbw experiences, artwork, etc.

What's the difference between SENetwork and SE.net Web Links section (http://www.spaceempires.net/home/modules.php?name=Web_Links&l_op=viewlink&cid=1)? I'm curious.

The Space Empires Network is more of a web ring designed to promote traffic between sites. Member sites have to display a banner with a link back to it.

Greetings!

Just a bit of thread bumping to promote awareness of the Space Empires Network. If you have a Space Empires website, then you can sign up here:
http://network.spaceempires.net/join.php

If you don't have a website, then either you can make one or you can visit the network sites more frequently and bug their operators to update more often.
