OT: Who'd like to join in a game of Alternity?

Fyron and myself are going to be starting a game of Alternity. For those who don't know, Alternity is a Sci-Fi RPG which was unfortunately axed by Wizards of the Coast. A great game with a lot of potential.

We will be using the OpenRPG web-based game server, so we can all participate from the comfort of out swivel chairs.

I'll be running the game, and I'm inviting all interested parties to post here or PM me and I'll provide further details!

We'll be playing in the Star*Drive universe, and I'm working on an epic campaign.

There are several different societies in the universe we'll be dealing with, with special emphasis on one in particular. Join the game to find out which!

As a member of the SE4 roleplaying club I'd be glad to join. A bit of sci-fi will make a change from D&D. Don't know much about Alternity however, and wouldn't you know SVgames, from which I download old sourebooks and which I couldn't help noticing had Alternity books, stopped supplying downloads this week http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/mad.gif. If you want me to play please keep in mind I will be away from next week for a fortnight. I'll google some Alternity info tonight.

Edit: also since it's out of print I won't have to waste more money on sourcebooks http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif. Unless I go to Amazon or ebay http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
