This is all I could think of by the time I posted this.

Hehe, it's just a spoof of one of M&Ms phrases, "Melts in your mouth, not in your hand."

I think the first phrase is closer to the truth,.. The do melt in your hand if held long enough, and I don't know anyone who allows them to 'melt in your mouth' they tend to chew them up before that happens.

I'd like to offer McDonalds recent "I'd hit it" campaign, noted for the McExecutives ignorance of the above phrase currently being loosely translated (at least by the fans of popular website fark.com) "I would have sex with her".
Let the jokes about "secret sauce" begin...

Well, not a slogan (per se) but, I can't believe the cajones of the ad people who OK the posting of:
"Genuine Imitation Leather" and
"Genuine Faux Pearls". http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Not really. Just an urban legend:
http://spanish.about.com/cs/culture/a/chevy_nova.htm
If you separate the word nova into no va, then, yes it does mean "it doesn't go" but the direct translation doesn't fit the usage. Most Spanish speaking folks would use words like English speaking people do: "It doesn't run".
According to this article, the Nova did quite well in Spanish speaking contries.
